Our family enjoys living on an acreage outside of Baltic, SD. Our three
boys - Austin, 8; Andrew, 3; and Nicholas, 1 - love running and playing
in the country. It's a short 20 minute drive for me to my job as a reporter
at the Argus Leader in Sioux Falls. My husband, Steve, is a sty at home
dad most of the week. He also is a contractor and does finish carpentry
in the "starter castles" in Sioux Falls. In his spare time, he works on
antiques that he sells at a couple of shows a year. Our children are starting
to keep us very busy with 4-H, baseball, piano lessons, and other kids
activities. We really enjoy the work and rewards of parenting.
